The Questioner allows you to add multiple-choice questions to your game! Use it to add educational or quiz and trivia elements to your games. Set up the Questioner so players can answer questions by interacting with it or from anywhere, anytime.

Add Questions

To enable the Questioner, paste a Kit URL into the “Kit Link” field in the Questioner Options.

And that’s all there is to it! As soon as your Questioner has a Kit link in it, players can interact with it in-game.

Reward Correct Answers

Use the Questioner to grant items to players when they answer questions correctly! Just set up an **Item Granter device** to grant the item of your choice and use a Wire to connect it to your Questioner.

Custom Encouragement

You can set up the Questioner to show a message to students when a question is answered correctly or incorrectly. For example, you grant players 1 bait for correct questions and you want to let them know they’ve earned their bait each time. Head to the Interface tab and type your message into the “Correct Answer Message” field.

Now, players will see a message when they answer a question correctly.

Multiple Kits

Use multiple Questioners connected to separate Kits to create multi-tier escape rooms, review content across multiple units, and blend subjects/topics into one game!

Answer Questions from Anywhere

In order for players to answer questions, they must interact with your Questioner. By default, they are visible and require players to be directly next to them in order to interact. Use the Game Overlay Device to allow players to click a button to interact with a Questioner from anywhere. Learn how to set this up in our How to answer questions from anywhere tutorial.
