Created by a high school student who wanted to play a more engaging learning game in school, our core product is an online game show for the classroom that requires knowledge, strategy, collaboration, and communication to win.
Gimkit was launched at the end of October, 2017. Since then, we've worked closely with teachers and students to improve Gimkit piece by piece. With their help, Gimkit is now played millions of times a month in classrooms ranging from 1st to 12th grade.
Gimkit emphasizes content mastery for students and easy implementation for teachers.
Subscription-based, our game is 100% focused on the teacher and student experience. We don't sell or leverage teacher data because that isn't how memorable experiences are created. Gimkit was created to improve education not to sell advertising space, and we've never waivered from that initial vision.
