• NEW: Flag Device + Flag Capture Zone Device

    • You can now easily build your very own Capture The Flag maps in Gimkit Creative!

    • Use the Flag device to spawn a flag players can collect.

      • The only required option is the Protecting Team. This is the team that is protecting the flag — they won’t be allowed to pick it up!
      • You can also customize the safe zone size, if notifications are sent, and the color flag.

    • Use the Flag Capture Zone device to set the area a player must enter to successfully capture the flag.

    • Utilize the Tag Zone and create a Capture The Flag similar to the one made by Gimkit where players tag eachother. Or bring in gadgets and make a combat Capture The Flag mode, it’s up to you!

    • Note that in order for the Flag to work properly, your map must have at least 1 item slot for players.

  • Publish Links

    • When using the Questioner Device, you no longer need to put in a valid public kit to the Questioner Device
    • If a kit is set, the map will attempt to use that kit. But if it fails or the kit does not exist, the default sample question will be used.

  • Tag Zone Device

    • Fixed an issue where the Tag Zone was visible during the pre-game phase

  • Popup Device

    • Fixed an issue that prevented custom images from working properly

  • Item Spawner Device

    • Added new spawn interval options: 3 seconds, 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes

  • Waypoint Device

    • Added support for showing the position of a flag
    • Simply select the Flag Color and when that flag is picked up, the location of it will be shown for everybody else

  • Device Search

    • When searching for devices, devices whose name matches the search query will be prioritized first (previously searching for “trigger” showed the Checker device first as “trigger” appeared in the description)

  • Community Forum

    • We recently had to restart our community forum. The platform we were using before did not have the moderation tools we needed to keep the forum a safe place.
    • Because of this, all content on the forum was lost. We’re sorry about that, but things should be all good on the new forum!

  • Bug Fixes

    • Fixed an issue where placing a device and quickly copying or moving it would result in it being invisible
