Bad refund policies are infuriating. You feel like the company is just trying to rip you off. We never want our customers to feel that way, so our refund policy is simple: If you’re ever unhappy with your subscription for any reason, just contact us and we’ll take care of you.
Examples of full refunds we’d grant.
- If you were just charged for your next month or year but you meant to cancel, we’re happy to refund that charge for you.
- If you forgot to cancel your Pro subscription a couple of months ago and you haven’t used it since then, we’ll give you a full refund for a few back months. No problem.
- If you tried Gimkit Pro for a couple of months and you just weren’t happy with it, you can have your money back.
- If you were manually added to a group license and were charged for a monthly or annual renewal, we’re happy to refund that charge and cancel your plan for you.
Examples of partial refunds or credits we’d grant.
- If you were manually added to a group license and forgot to cancel your individual subscription, we’ll refund you for the time you had subscription overlap.
- If we had extended downtime (multiple hours in a day, or multiple days in a month) or you emailed customer service and it took multiple days to get back to you, we’d issue a partial credit to your account.
Canceling your subscription.
You can cancel your subscription anytime by visiting the Billing and Plan section of your Gimkit account and clicking Cancel Subscription. Once you cancel your subscription, you won't be charged again but will still keep premium access until the end of your subscription date.
Get in touch.
Many situations will come down to a case-by-case basis. Send us a note, tell us what’s up, and we’ll work with you to make sure you’re happy.
Thank you to Basecamp who made their refund policy available for use under a Creative Commons license. We used their refund policy as a starting point for ours.
*This refund policy applies to individual subscriptions. Group subscriptions can be trickier and we handle them on a case-by-case basis.
